Prop Rubber 1800`s rifles from AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

Another cool prop offering from this fun and visually dazzling film! Used on screen by English soldiers who were in pursuit of the Professor (Steve Coogan) and Passpartout (Jackie Chan), these realistic looking rifles are made entirely out of rubber! Painted brown and black to look like wood and metal, these stunt rifles are used for safety purposes when a scene or "shot" does not require extreme close-ups. While both of these rifles have some nicks and scratches from use on set, one is in more "like new" condition than the other. It is impossible to tell which rifles are being seen on screen at any point in time, but these rifles were acquired direct from Disney Studios/Walden Media distributors as "Used on Screen". The pan-animation scene is comprised of many different layers, each hand painted by studio artists during production of the Saturday morning cartoon Fat Albert in the 70`s. Each layer, including the original hand-painted background have been seperated and mounted inside the display to give it a 3D effect. The very front layer (each layer is a sheet of clear plastic, which the artists would then animate with ink and paint) which contains only the drum and railing on the right of the scene, has a slight crease in the plastic. The crease is not prominent but can be found if looked for. The Theater poster is authentic straight from the studio, which is why it is larger than the average poster. These are the posters that are distributed to the theaters to display for their customers. It is hand signed by the entire main cast(9 signatures in all), including Fat Albert (Kenan Thompson) and Director Joel Zwick! The larger than life Hulk explodes onto the big screen! These prop "HEISLER" beer bottles were used on screen by Bruce and Betty near the beginning of this groundshaking film. After they fail to use the "nanotechnology" to heal a toad but instead explode the poor critter, Bruce and Betty decide to have a "beer and a chat". In an attempt to do our best to ascertain which bottle was used by Mr. Bana/Mrs. Connelly, we zoomed in on the viewable areas of the label as Betty takes a swig. There does seem to be a flaw in the label of Bettys bottle. After discovering this we checked the bottles and found that one did in fact have a slight nick in the label, in the same area as the one on screen. Of course, this could have been done after the fact but is interesting to note as it is the best indicator of which bottle is which. We have kept the bottles in their set used condition since the moment they were recieved and no labels have been tampered with in any way.
